CHARLES WARD AVIANCE
REMEMBERING THE BEGINNING I remember the beginning of the House with just Mother Juan, Kevin, Father Tony and a few younger House members in a little apartment in D.C. During that time we had meetings figuring out what it all meant to everyone and how exactly we would build the House. The House world was just beginning for us but we had a clear vision how we wanted to represent our House moving forward. It was an honor to grow up with such amazing people who cared about you and your dreams. We supported and understood one another through the good times and the bad times! We never judged when mistakes were made and we were there to pat you on your back when you needed it! I have many fond memories of my House as u see and I’ve learned to be a better person because of my Aviance family’s positive support throughout the years. As one of the elder members of the House, I close by saying “I am very proud to hold the name “still” along with the newer members of the House. It’s an honor to call them my true friends and family!
